I just got 900W (3X300W) Lighting Photography Studio Strobe Flash Light Kit Works for meBy October WayI bought this kit months ago for school, and never had to use them until early this week. I handed in an assignment with great results. I am still learning lighting, but this is a great starter kit for the price and my student budget. There are directions but it helps if you have already trained on other professional lighting kits first. The cords/plugs that came with my lights were simply grounded - there is nothing "unusual" about them, so I'm not understanding the other review here. You just plug one end of the cord into the lighting unit and the other into - I use a power bar (for power tools) - an outlet that is suited for the plug. Every outlet in my house could handle these.
